Coach Jenny Richardson, 2019 GHS Teacher of the Year, is entering her 16th season with the Georgetown Lady Eagles, in Georgetown, TX. Under her tenure, her program has amassed many new achievements: 9 30+ win seasons, a tournament victory, three 5A Regional appearances, one Regional championship, and a first ever state appearance.  She has had several students named to the All-State Team, the Academic All-State team, All-District teams, and has sent over 35 players to continue their volleyball career in the collegiate ranks. In 2004 she was named 21-5A Volleyball Coach of the Year while at Aldine Macarthur High School, 2011 Williamson County Coach of the year, and in 2015, she earned her 300th win at Georgetown High School.  For the last 10-years, her teams have earned the AVCA Academic Excellence Award. For the last 5-years she has been involved in the AVCA Mentor Program.

In 2019 she spoke at the AVCA National Convention in Pittsburgh.

She enjoys teaching Teen Leadership, and Professional Communication and also being the jump coach for the track team 

Richardson graduated from Lamar with a BS in Communications, and has her Master’s Degree from Sam Houston.

She lives with her husband, Mike, and their 2 pets.
