Coach Jenny Richardson :Coach Jenny Richardson is entering her 18th season as Head Coach of the Georgetown Lady Eagles in Georgetown, Texas. A decorated educator and coach, she was named Georgetown High School’s Teacher of the Year in 2019 and has built a program defined by excellence, consistency, and student-athlete success.

Over the past year alone (May 2024–May 2025), Coach Richardson led a triple jumper to back-to-back State Championships, guided the volleyball team to the 5A State Semifinals, was named the THSCA Assistant Coach of the Year for Track & Field, 23-5A Volleyball Coach of the Year, and was an invited speaker at the THSCA Convention.

Under her leadership, the Georgetown volleyball program has recorded:

  • 10 seasons with 30+ wins
  • 2 tournament championships
  • 4 5A Regional appearances
  • 2 Regional Championships
  • 2 State Tournament appearances

Coach Richardson has coached numerous athletes who have gone on to earn All-American, All-State, Academic All-State, and All-District honors. More than 45 of her players have continued their volleyball careers at the collegiate level.

Her career is marked by multiple honors, including:

  • 500th career win at Georgetown High School (2023)
  • 21-5A Coach of the Year at Aldine MacArthur HS (2004)
  • Williamson County Coach of the Year (2011)
  • 12 consecutive AVCA Team Academic Awards
  • 7 years of service with the AVCA Mentor Program
  • Speaker at the 2019 AVCA National Convention in Pittsburgh
     

Coach Richardson holds a Bachelor of Science in Communications from Lamar University and a Master’s degree from Sam Houston State University.
