Coach Eduardo Venegas

Coach Eduardo Venegas’ is in his third year at Georgetown HS, 9th overall year as a HS coach. He was the Girls Soccer Head Coach at Cedar Creek for 3 years and was an assistant on the boys side prior to that at Cedar Creek. 

Coach Venegas' is originally from Lima, Peru where he grew up playing soccer with multiple club teams. Once he moved to the United States he played for FC Select out of College Station. 

He Played club at the University of Houston and also had an internship with the Houston Dynamo while he was at U of H, where he got to experience/learn great coaching from the academy teams to the professional team. He graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Journalism and a Minor in Spanish. 

Coach Venegas is married to Angela Venegas and has a 3 year old son, named Eduardo.
