Victoria Agnew

Hello! My name is Victoria Agnew and I am one of the four Culinary Arts teachers for the 2023-24 school year at GHS. This is my 4 1/2 year of teaching and my second year teaching at GHS! In 2017, I graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor's degree in Literature and received a Master's degree in Education the following year. While reading and language arts will always have a special place in my heart, I soon realized that I wanted to pursue a different passion of mine: cooking! 

Since I was young, I have always been drawn to the kitchen and often spent many nights helping my mom cook meals for our family. Although most of my education has been directed towards ELA, I like to consider myself a "professional home cook", and love to share my real world knowledge with others!

Outside of work, I enjoy cooking (obviously), reading, traveling, spending time with my fiancé/family/friends, and going to as many hot yoga classes as I can afford! (Not many)
