Nathan Leeds

Hi everyone! I am Mr. Leeds and I will be teaching Geometry and Pre-Calculus this year. This is my 8th year of teaching at GHS. I grew up in the middle of Houston, TX and will always consider myself a houstonian at heart. In my free time I enjoy watching and playing sports, reading, traveling, and hiking. I believe that everyone can benefit by seeing the world through a mathematical lense and that humans expand their horizons through problem solving and critical thinking which is the core of Mathematics. I really look forward to getting to know all of my students this year and am very happy to be part of the GHS family. Go Eagles!!!!

Tutorials:

I am available for tutorials every morning before school from 8:00am – 8:40am (exceptions may include dates of mandatory staff meetings, as well days I am assigned to duty).

Mondays and Wednesdays in Homework Haven from 4pm-4:45pm in Room 177 with other math teachers.
Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4-5:45pm in the library for Library Nights.

I will personally be there on Tuesdays after
school for Library Nights. **This is the best option for tutorials with me** Thursdays there will be another Math teacher.

Board Game Club:

Thursdays after school from 4-6pm I host a Board Game Club in Rm 178! We play Catan, Monopoly, Magic, Yu-gi-oh, or really any Board Game or Card game you can think of, so feel free to swing by! Reach out to me for more info!
