 Peter Staackmann

      I am originally from Port Aransas.  After graduating high school, I attended Concordia University @ Austin.  I played college basketball at Concordia and majored in Secondary Education with a discipline in mathematics (8-12).  In 2004, I was hired at Victoria Memorial HS, teaching Algebra, Algebra II, and Geometry as well as coaching basketball and track.  In 2010, I moved to Victoria East HS teaching primarily geometry and coaching basketball and track.  In 2015-2018, I was the Head Boys Basketball coach at Victoria East.  
      My wife Stephanie, whom I met in college while she was on the women's basketball team, and I have been married since June 2007.  We have two kids, Chase (10) and Chloe (5).  My favorite things consist of spending time with friends and family, playing golf, and watching my son participate in sports (in no particular order). 
      This is my fifth year being at Georgetown HS and my wife and I are proud to call Georgetown our home.
