AP Biology

Advanced Placement Biology is a college-level biology course.  In May students are given the opportunity to take an AP exam that can provide them with college credit depending on their score and their college of choice.  Many students find AP biology to be challenging simply because of the scope of the course...it's a study of life...that covers a lot of territory!!  But we do what we can to wade through it and have fun while we're at it.  I've found that the study of life is almost always interesting, amazing and breath-taking.  I was once told that the information we know about genetics doubles every three months.  That was years ago, so I'm not sure we're still gaining information at that rate but the scientific world makes discoveries about life every single day so there's always something new.  So, let's get to learning about life!! :)
