    Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year! My name is Julie Fleischmann and I teach African American Studies, Government and Economics. This is my 19th year in education and my 1st year at Georgetown High School!

I earned my Bachelor's degree in History at the University of Texas at Austin and my Master's degree in Education at Vanderbilt University. My family moved to Georgetown three years ago and I have two boys who attend school in GISD. In my free time I enjoy baking, travelling, hiking, camping, swimming and gardening.
