Principal, Brian Johnson

Mr. Johnson began his career and spent 19 years in Humble ISD on the northeast side of Houston.  He began by teaching middle school math for 4 years at Atascocita Middle School under the principal and his little league baseball coach Mr. Ron Westerfeld. He then went into administration as an assistant principal at his alma mater, Kingwood High School, where he was a 1995  graduate.  After serving at KHS from 2004 - 2011, he moved on to serve as the associate principal at Kingwood Park High School from 2012 - 2019. In the spring of 2019, Mr. Johnson felt compelled to search for a head principal opportunity.  After searching central Texas districts for the ideal place to move his wife and three children who were all approaching high school, he was blessed with the opportunity to serve at Georgetown High School. Mr. Johnson’s wife, Keturah, teaches math at Austin Community College.  His three children are all Georgetown Eagles: Charles (class of 24), Annemarie (class of 25) and Audrey (class of 27). Mr. Johnson believes passionately about serving not only the students and staff of Georgetown HS, but also the greater community of Georgetown, Texas.
