2025-2026 GHS New Student Information
Textbooks
Staff will be present in the bookroom (immediately off the cafeteria) at all lunches, during the first week of school. After that time, please stop by to speak to or email Ms. Perry in the GHS Annex B Office to arrange for textbook pick up.
Chromebooks
Chromebooks will be issued to students the first day of school. Students joining us from outside of the district will received their school issued chromebook within 2 days of starting classes. For further assistance, please visit the GHS technology office in room 822.
Student IDs
Student IDs will be issued in the first day of school. Students joining us from outside of the district will need to visit the library before/after school or during lunch to have your ID Picture taken. Please bring your schedule with your student ID number with you.
Parking Passes
Parking passes can be purchased in the GHS Annex A office during school hours. Visit Parking Information for details.
Tutoring
Each teacher has tutoring available either before or after school. Please see them for their schedule and be sure to notify them when you plan to attend their tutorial times. Library Nights open tutorials also available in the GHS Library on Tuesdays & Thursdays after school.
Grades
Skyward Family & Student Access accounts are created for every parent and guardian in the district. Skyward allows users to check grades, assignments and attendance in all classes. To access your account go to ClassLink (found on the GHS main webpage) or:

Schedule Changes-Electives
Please choose electives that interest you, because it is a year-long commitment. Students are not allowed to make changes to electives. If there is an error in your schedule not related to electives, please contact your counselor.
Schedule Changes-Advanced/AP
Students have between the third and sixth week to request a change from Advanced/AP to core. After that time, changes will not be approved until the end of the semester.
Bell Schedule/Lunches
Georgetown High School has “A” and “B” days. Students go to 1st and 8th periods every day. On “A” days students attend 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 8th periods. On “B” days students attend 1st, 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th period. Each class is approximately 90 minutes long with a seven minute passing period.
Lunches are determined by your 3rd period classes.
After School Activities
Please check the GHS Website for information on athletics and after school clubs. Club meeting times/dates/locations are posted on paper flyers and television screens throughout the school during the week.

You can add money to an account through your Skyward Family & Student Access account, under Food Service.
