2024-2025 Senior Reserved Parking Spots
Seniors may “rent” and paint their exclusive parking space for 2024-2025. For $100, senior students will have access to their very own parking spot during school hours. Spaces may be decorated to reflect individual interests, promote school/class spirit, etc. (subject to design approval).
Senior Parking Lot spaces may be reserved in-person only on a first-come, first-served basis on Thursday and Friday, August 8 & 9 from 9:00am to 11:00am (or until sold out) at the front entrance of South Hall (Austin Ave. side of the building). Spaces will be numbered with chalk, and as spaces are reserved, students will write their names on their spaces. The Senior Parking Lot will include spaces in the South Parking Lot (in front of South Hall/the PAC). NOTE: YOU ARE REQUIRED TO SHOW PROOF OF PURCHASE AND HAVE THE NUMBER OF YOUR 2024-25 $30 OFFICIAL GHS PARKING PERMIT PRIOR TO RESERVING YOUR SENIOR PARKING SPACE. GHS Parking Permits may be purchased here and picked up from Ms. Townsend in the main office.
Students/families desiring to reserve a space should download/print/complete the contract, including a draft of your design, and submit in-person with $100 cash or check payment on one of the two reservation days (checks may be made payable to GHS).
An official map of the available parking spaces can be found here. To view how each of the numbered spaces are currently painted by our Class of 2024, refer to this map (note: though spaces are correctly numbered, they are not to scale). For further reference, this photo may more clearly show what each space currently looks like (there are no space numbers reflected). On reservation days, as spaces are selected, those in line will be updated in real time as much as possible. Please plan to have several different options in mind when reserving your space.
For more information regarding Senior Parking, painting, enforcement, reservation dates/times, etc., please refer to the information sheet or contact Coach Colburn at colburnj1@georgetownisd.org.
