🚗 GHS Parking Permit Info 2026-2027 🚗

We are happy to offer the opportunity for you to register for your parking permit online!

If you drive to school, you MUST have a parking permit displayed in your car at all times.

⚠️ Important:

• All students will park BEHIND the GHS Annex building. Please see the attached map below for designated parking areas.
• ONLY Seniors who purchased a PAC parking spot can park in the PAC lot. We have a list of these students and what spot they have been assigned.
• Students can park in faculty and staff areas on weekends or before & after school for club/fine arts/sports related extracurriculars. Vehicles must be moved to designated student parking areas once the school day starts at 8:20 am OR you can (and most likely will) receive a citation.
• No cash or checks accepted — online payment only.

• License Plate Number (Please list the state if it is not a Texas plate)

🎟️ Permit Pick-Up:
See Mrs. Hadeen in the GHS Annex office. Permit Stickers will be ready for pick-up starting July 27, 2026. See below for scheduled pick-up times until the beginning of the school year!

 

💵 Cost:

• $30 during 1st semester
• $15 starting 2nd semester
• $5 starting May 1, 2026
• No refunds

🚘 Multiple Cars:

• Click here to fill out the Google Form for any additional vehicles you will be registering aside from the one you’ve already registered on RevTrak. 
• GHS Parking Permit Application for Additional Student Vehicles
• Replacement/Additional Permit Stickers are $5 (this can be applicable to families with multiple students and students who will have multiple vehicles) 
• We are working on adding this as a separate payment option online, cash can be accepted right now due to that technical error.

🚘 Temporary Cars:
If you already have a permit and drive a different car temporarily, you can get a temporary permit — just provide the vehicle info and insurance then go see Mrs. Hadeen in the annex office to receive a temporary placard.
 

⚠️ Parking Rules (READ THESE, ITS IMPORTANT):

• Permit must be visible on the LOWER DRIVER SIDE of your windshield. Generally above or under your registration sticker.
• Your permit ONLY works for the car you registered.
• Do NOT share, sell, or alter permits.
• Park ONLY in student parking areas. See map below!
• No parking in:

❌ Faculty spots
❌ Visitor spots
❌ Front of the Annex
❌ Grass/curbs/sidewalks
❌ Marching Band Practice Pad

🚫 No hanging out in cars or parking lots during any instructional times.
🚫 No hanging out in cars or parking lots during lunch times.
🚫 No loud music or profanity.
🚙 Speed limit on campus is 15 MPH.

 

Repeated violations can lead to:

• Boots/Towing (at your expense - $30 is the starting fine for parking violations)
• Disciplinary Action
• Loss of parking privileges WITHOUT refund

🚨 Your parking privileges can also be revoked for:

• Skipping class/truancy
• Reckless driving
• Disrespect to staff
• GAP/JJAEP placement
• Leaving campus without permission

🔒 Reminder:
GHS is NOT responsible for theft, damage, or towing costs. Vehicles on campus may be subject to being searched if needed at random intervals.

SENIOR PARKING LOT 2026-2027

Your GHS Student Council is continuing the tradition this year! Seniors may “rent” and paint their exclusive parking space for 2026-2027 in the Senior Parking Lot (south PAC lot). For $125, senior students will have access to their very own parking spot during school hours. Spaces may be decorated to reflect individual interests, promote school/class spirit, etc. (subject to design approval). Further information, procedures, etc. may be found here.

Senior Parking Lot spaces may be reserved in-person only on a first-come, first-served basis on Friday, August 14 from 9:00am until noon [OR until sold out] at the main home gate entrance to the Stadium. The Senior Parking Lot will include spaces in the South Parking Lot (in front of the PAC). NOTE: YOU ARE REQUIRED TO SHOW PROOF OF PURCHASE AND HAVE THE NUMBER OF YOUR 2026-27 $30 OFFICIAL GHS PARKING PERMIT PRIOR TO RESERVING YOUR SENIOR PARKING SPACE. GHS Parking Permits may be purchased here and picked up from Ms. Hadeen in the Annex Office A.

Students/families wishing to reserve a space should download/print/complete the contract, including a draft of your design, and submit in-person with $125 cash or check payment on Reservation Day (checks may be made payable to GHS). NOTE: unfortunately we cannot accept credit card or electronic payment at this time. If a senior or senior’s family cannot be present on Reservation Day, he or she may have a trusted friend/family member make the reservation on their behalf provided they are able to present the completed/signed contract and payment in full.

For reference, to view how each of the numbered spaces are currently painted by our Class of 2026, refer to this map. On reservation day, as spaces are selected, those in line will be updated in real time as much as possible as to which spaces are no longer available. Please plan to have several different options in mind when reserving your space.
